Want to leave the Aston Martin at home? Feel free. Your James Bond Christmas Party venue is the luxurious Sheraton Grand Hotel in central Edinburgh with excellent transport links.
It’s a licence to thrill everybody in your organisation, from Miss Moneypenny to M the boss… and Q in the IT department, obviously.
What to expect at the James Bond themed Christmas party
You’ll be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco as you make an entrance on the VIP red carpet. There’s plenty of time for photos before the banqueting room doors open to the iconic 007 theme tune.
While you’re served a delicious 3-course dinner, show off your Bond knowledge by matching the film to the famous theme songs as they play in the background.
The drinks are flowing, dinner has been enjoyed… and the entertainment has only just begun. It’s time for the live band.
When the music switches from cool Bond to the hottest grooves on the planet, everyone will be stuck to the dance floor. If you can unglue yourself, try your luck at 007-style casino tables, or get your face bling on at the glitter bar.
And don’t forget to visit the photo booth. Those photos will remind you of the best Christmas party choice you’ve ever made.

The 5 star party venue is the luxurious Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa, perfectly situated in the heart of Edinburgh. It’s a high-class event space — spacious and elegant with a mix of contemporary and traditional.
The transport links are excellent too. Haymarket and Edinburgh Waverley Stations are close by, as are Edinburgh bus station and the West End subway stops.

The dress code
There isn’t one. Having said that, a James Bond Christmas party is a fantastic excuse to dress up and look your suave, sophisticated best.
For men, we’d recommend black tie — and for women… Well, take your pick. Bond Girl bling, elegant ball gown or little black dress, Pussy Galore jumpsuit or sequins and sparkles. Enjoy!

About the event
Is this a shared event?
Yes, the main party room is shared. This is where dinner is served, and also where all the live music takes place.
Will we have our own table?
Yes, no matter the size of your guest list you’ll have your own tables. You won’t have to share the table with anyone outside your party group.
Are drinks included in the price?
Yes. You’ll be given a glass of Prosecco as you arrive, and there are bottles of wine on each table — enough for half a bottle each.
The easiest option for extra drinks at the bar is to purchase any of the following ahead of the evening:
- £40 + VAT — Unlimited beer, wine or soft drinks from 8pm until 12.30am
- £18 + VAT — 3 standard tokens redeemable for beer, wine or soft drinks
- £30 + VAT — 5 standard tokens redeemable for beer, wine or soft drinks
- £24 + VAT — 3 premium tokens redeemable for spirits, beer, wine or soft drinks
- £40 + VAT — 5 premium tokens redeemable for spirits, beer, wine or soft drinks
Is there a dress code?
No. We want you to have a good time, so you can wear whatever you want.
However…It’s James Bond! He’s famous for sartorial elegance and most of our guests for this particular event love getting dressed up for it.
The menu
Will the hotel cater for different dietary requirements?
Yes they will. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a function sheet. Use this to let us know the names and dietary requirements of any guests. We’ll inform the chef so that each person is catered for appropriately.
The only exception to this is Kosher food. This cannot be prepared at the hotel. It comes via a separate caterer and incurs an additional charge. Call us on 020 7183 3821 and we’ll talk you through it.
Booking and admin
How much is the deposit? And when is it due?
To secure your booking, we’ll need a deposit of £35 + VAT per guest. The balance will be due 6 weeks (42 days) before the event.
Can I add additional guests later?
We’ll be as flexible as possible. Please let us know about any changes before 3rd November and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. Provided there is availability, we can add to your booking — although please bear in mind, we can’t guarantee this.
If you want to add guests, contact us on 020 7183 3821 or email [email protected]. We’ll let you straight away if there’s availability. If there’s enough space for additional guests, full payment will be required in order to secure the booking.
What’s the minimum and maximum number of guests I can book for?
The minimum is 8 people. The maximum number for this venue is 300.
Is there an age requirement?
To comply with licensing laws, your guests will need to be over 18 years of age at the time of the event.

Is there parking near the venue?
Yes, although charges may apply.
Edinburgh, The Sheraton Grand — There are 2 car parks just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Castle Terrace is the larger car park, a 5-minute walk away. Grindlay Street Court is a small car park (16 spaces) and is 3 minutes away. For more parking locations, visit Parkopedia.

Can I stay at the hotel?
Yes, although you will need to arrange the booking. Unfortunately, we’re unable to do this for you. We’ve provided a link to the hotel website below.
