Our Christmas Masquerade Ball in London is held at the luxurious Leonardo Royal London City. It’s right in the heart of the capital, with excellent transport links, so you can leave the gondola at home.
What to expect at the Christmas Masquerade Ball in London
Your night of masked revelry begins with a sparkling glass of Prosecco and a VIP welcome from our costumed performers.
All-inclusive beer, wine and soft drinks keep the masquerade vibe buzzing as you’re served a delicious 3-course candlelit dinner.
Our live singer is there to serenade you over dinner with timeless classics while, between courses, costumed performers entertain you with impressive dance moves.

A live party band takes to the stage and sets the tempo for dancing. Meanwhile, professional croupiers are handing out free just-for-fun casino chips at the Blackjack and roulette tables.

Your Masquerade Christmas Party venue is the Leonardo Royal London City — a luxurious 4-star hotel in the heart of London.
Public transport is excellent. Tower Hill and Aldgate tube stations, Tower Gateway DLR and Fenchurch Street Station are all within easy reach.
If your guests fancy an overnight stay, the hotel has 317 spacious bedrooms, a swimming pool, spa and gym.

You’ll be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco, then all-inclusive drinks are served from 8pm until 12.30pm.
The dress code
It’s all about the masks. Do wear one — half-faced, obviously, otherwise dinner may be an issue. Simple and elegant or intricate and elaborate. Choose whichever style you like.
As for the rest of your outfit… Well, we love it when our guests dress up, although if a full-on Venetian costume is not your thing, black tie and evening wear will do nicely.

About the event
Is this a shared event?
Yes, the main party room is shared. It’s where all the live music, singing and entertainment happens.
Will we have our own table?
Yes, no matter the size of your guest list, you’ll have your own tables. You won’t have to share the table with anyone outside your party group.
Are drinks included in the price?
Yes. Unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks are included in your ticket price. They’re served from 8pm until 12.30am.
Want to upgrade to a premium ticket? For an additional £25 you get 5 tokens, each redeemable for a glass of Prosecco or single spirits, with or without mixers.
Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code. However, it’s a masquerade ball, so it’s all about grandeur and elegance… and remember, everyone will be wearing a mask.
The menu
Will the hotel cater for different dietary requirements?
Yes they will. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a function sheet. Use this to let us know the names and dietary requirements of any guests. We’ll inform the chef so each person is catered for appropriately.
The only exception to this is Kosher food. It can’t be prepared at the hotel and comes via a separate caterer, so it incurs an additional cost. Call us on 020 7183 3821 and we’ll talk you through it.
Booking and admin
How much is the deposit? And when is it due?
To secure your booking, we’ll need a deposit of £45 + VAT per guest at the time of booking. The balance will be due 6 weeks (42 days) before the event.
Can I add additional guests later?
We’ll be as flexible as possible. Please let us know about any changes before 1st November and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. Provided there is availability, we’ll add to your booking —although please bear in mind, we cannot guarantee this.

What’s the minimum and maximum number of guests I can book for?
The minimum is 8 people. The maximum number for this venue is 300.

Is there parking near the venue?
The nearest car park is Tower Hill car park, 50 Lower Thames Street.

What about public transport?
The Leonardo Royal London City is within easy reach of Tower Hill and Aldgate tube stations. Tower Gateway DLR and Fenchurch Street Station are also just a short walk away.
Is there disabled access?
All our hotels have disabled access.
Is there a cloakroom? Will I be able to leave my suitcase there?
Yes, the cloakrooms at all our party locations are free. If you have larger luggage items, there’s a free concierge service. Leave your luggage with them and they’ll look after it securely while you’re at the event.

Yes, although you will need to arrange the booking. Unfortunately, we’re unable to do this for you. We’ve provided a link to both hotel websites below.
