What to expect at the James Bond Party in Brighton

A sparkling glass of Prosecco is waiting for you as you make a red carpet VIP entrance.

As the banqueting room doors open to the iconic Bond theme, the decor is as cool as James Bond himself.

The bar is open for unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks — and while you indulge in a delicious 3-course dinner, those classic Bond film favourites play in the background.

The all-inclusive drinks are flowing, dinner has been enjoyed… but the entertainment is just beginning.

Our fantastic live band raises the temperature from cool Bond to red hot hits from across the decades.

If you can resist the dance floor, professional croupiers are handing out just-for-fun casino chips at the Blackjack and roulette tables. Or why not visit the glitter bar for some expert face painting artistry.

And don’t forget the photo booth. You can visit as many times as you like to make some memories.

The dress code

There isn’t a dress code because we want you to relax and have a good time.

But hey, it’s James Bond. Is there a better excuse for dressing up? He’s famous for looking fabulous — even when the evil villain is threatening a grisly end.

For men, we’d recommend black tie. For women… Well, there’s so much choice. Bond Girl bling, elegant ball gown, Pussy Galore jumpsuit or little black dress. Take your pick!

If you need some inspiration, here’s our blog What to wear to a James Bond party: 7 ideas for women.

"We organised our Christmas Party through West End Events and were not disappointed!! The booking process was simple and seamless and the team were extremely helpful. We had a fantastic night at the 'Skyball' - everyone had great fun!! It was very well organised and the entertainment and food were superb! I would thoroughly recommend West End Events for a hassle-free and fun Christmas party!! A big thank you from us all!"

Do you have any questions? We’ve answered some of the most common questions below. If yours isn’t there, don’t worry. Just call us on 020 7183 3821 and we’ll provide the answer.

About the event

Is this a shared event?

Yes, the main party room is shared. It’s where the 3-course dinner is served, and all the live music and entertainment happens.

Will we have our own table?

Yes, no matter the size of your guest list you’ll have your own tables. You won’t have to share the table with anyone outside your party group.

Are drinks included in the price?

Yes. Unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks are included in your ticket price. They’re served from 8pm until 12.30am.

For an additional £25 you can upgrade to a premium ticket — 5 tokens, each redeemable for a glass of Prosecco or single spirits, with or without mixers.

Is there a dress code?

There is no dress code. However, a James Bond party is a great excuse to dress up.

It’s all about elegance and sophistication. For men, a tuxedo is always a safe bet. And for women, well, take your pick — anything from an elegant ball gown dripping with diamonds to a Pussy Galore jumpsuit or little black dress.

The menu

Will the hotel cater for different dietary requirements?

Yes they will. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a function sheet. Use this to let us know the names and dietary requirements of any guests. We’ll inform the chef so that each person is catered for appropriately.

The only exception to this is Kosher food. This cannot be prepared at the hotel. It comes via a separate caterer and incurs an additional charge. Call us on 020 7183 3821 and we’ll talk you through it.

Booking and admin

How much is the deposit? And when is it due?

To secure your booking, we’ll need a deposit of £45 + VAT per guest at the time of booking. The balance will be due 6 weeks (42 days) before the event.

Can I add additional guests later?

We’ll be as flexible as possible. Please let us know about any changes before 1st November and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. Provided there is availability, we can add to your booking — although please bear in mind, we can’t guarantee this.

If you want to add guests, contact us on 020 7183 3821 or email [email protected]. We’ll let you straight away if there’s availability. If there’s enough space for additional guests, full payment will be required in order to secure the booking.

What’s the minimum and maximum number of guests I can book for?

The minimum is 8 people. The maximum number for this venue is 800.

The Venue

Is there parking near the venue?

The nearest car park is the NCP Brighton Centre. It’s on Russell Road, just round the corner from the hotel.

Regency Square Car Park is a 4-minute walk away at 31 Russell Square.

What about public transport links?

The Metropole is a 15-minute walk from Brighton Station.

It’s also easy to get to by bus. Virtually all the local buses go to Churchill Square, and it’s a 7-minute walk from there.

Is there disabled access?

All our hotels have disabled access.

Is there a cloakroom? Will I be able to leave my suitcase there?

Yes, the cloakrooms at all our party locations are free. If you have larger luggage items, there’s a free concierge service. Leave your luggage with them and they’ll look after it securely while you’re at the event.

Can I stay at the hotel?

Yes, although you will need to arrange the booking. Unfortunately, we’re unable to do this for you. We’ve provided a link to the hotel website below.
