The Grand Masquerade Ball in Manchester is held at the wonderful The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel Manchester. It’s right in the heart of the capital, with excellent transport links, so you can leave the gondola at home.
Our live music is there to serenade you over dinner with timeless classics, and costumed performers entertain you with impressive dance moves.
Some parties wind down after dinner. In the heart of Manchester, our Christmas Masquerade Ball is only just beginning…
A professional party band will get you onto the dance floor and keep you there. If you can resist dancing, visit the casino tables. Professional croupiers are handing out free just-for-fun casino chips and giving tips on how to play.
Or for some glittering facial artistry, try out the glitter bar. Our professional face painters will add a little extra gorgeously applied bling to the evening.
If you’re still wearing a mask at midnight, now is the moment to take it off. Reveal your true identity!

Our venue for the Grand Masquerade Ball party is the The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel Manchester. The luxurious hotel has seen more fun, festivity and flirtation than a hundredweight of mistletoe.
It’s right around the corner from the Manchester Oxford Road Station.

It’s all about the masks. Do wear one — half-faced, obviously, otherwise dinner may be an issue. Simple and elegant or intricate and elaborate. Choose whichever style you like.
As for the rest of your outfit… Well, we love it when our guests dress up, although if a full-on Venetian costume is not your thing, black tie and evening wear will do nicely.

Yes, this is a shared party. The main party room is where dinner is served, and also where all the live music takes place during and after dinner. You won’t be asked to share a table with other groups, you’ll only be seated with your group.
Yes, no matter the size of your guest list you’ll have your own tables. You won’t have to share the table with anyone outside your party group.
Yes. Your All-Inclusive Standard ticket includes unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks.
For £31 +VAT per person, you can upgrade to All-Inclusive Plus. This gives you unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks — plus 6 single spirits (with or without mixers), or glasses of Prosecco.
With both options, all-inclusive drinks are served from 8pm until 12.30am.
Please note that everyone in your group must be on the same package. Unfortunately, we cannot mix and match the ticket types.
There is no dress code. However, a party is a great excuse to dress up.
Yes they will. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a function sheet. Use this to let us know the names and dietary requirements of any guests. We’ll inform the chef so that each person is catered for appropriately.
The only exception to this is Kosher food. This cannot be prepared at the hotel. It comes via a separate caterer and incurs an additional charge. Call us on 020 7183 3821 and we’ll talk you through it.
To secure your booking, we’ll need a deposit of £55 + VAT per guest at the time of booking. The balance will be due 6 weeks (42 days) before the event.
We’ll be as flexible as possible. Please let us know about any changes before 1st November and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. Provided there is availability, we can add to your booking — although please bear in mind, we can’t guarantee this.

The minimum is 8 people. The maximum number for this venue is 600 guests
The hotel has some onsite parking which needs to be paid for at reception. The next nearest car park is the NCP Oxford Street, just a 3-minute walk from the hotel.

The fastest way is to take the train from Manchester Piccadilly Station to Manchester Oxford Road, which takes around 2-3 minutes.
There are direct bus services from Manchester Piccadilly Rail Station to the hotel.
There is also the the Metro with the closest tram stop being Manchester Deansgate Castlefield approx 500m away from the hotel.
All our hotels have disabled access.
Yes, the cloakrooms at all our party locations are free. If you have larger luggage items, there’s a free concierge service. Leave your luggage with them and they’ll look after it securely while you’re at the event.
Yes, although you will need to arrange the booking. Unfortunately, we’re unable to do this for you. We’ve provided a link to the hotel website below.
