The prices shown on the shared Christmas party pages are a useful guide. However, private hire pricing does vary. It’s dependent on the event itself, your preferred date, the venue availability and the size of your guest list.
Bear in mind that there are minimum guest numbers for our private Christmas parties — generally around 150, although this varies between venues.

Festive dining
It’s Christmas, so dining has a starring role. You’ll be served a 3-course festive banquet at beautifully dressed tables, with live music to create a relaxing atmosphere. Let us know about vegetarian, vegan and other dietary requirements and we’ll make sure they’re catered for.
The exact menus vary slightly between venues — although for an idea of what to expect, you’ll find sample menus on the individual event pages.
If you’d prefer a standing event, let us know. With some venues, there’s an option for canapés rather than a sit-down dinner.

Group sizes for private Christmas parties
Private Christmas parties are typically for larger groups. The minimum number varies per venue, although 150 is a rough guide.
The maximum number can reach 550 but again, this does depend on the individual venue.

About the event
What happens if I have fewer than 150 guests?
Our shared Christmas parties are an excellent alternative. You’ll need a minimum of just 8 guests. These events are just as much fun as private parties — and you’ll have your own table, no matter the size of your party group.
Private dining rooms are also available at some of our shared parties. They’re ideal for groups of between 15 and 90 people. The room is yours for the entire evening. After dinner, you can stay there and relax, or join the other guests in the shared party space for dancing and entertainment.
Is there a maximum number of guests?
Yes, although the numbers vary according to the individual venue. To check the maximum number of guests we can accommodate, please feel free to get in touch on 020 7183 3821.
Can we include speeches or awards during the evening?
Yes. It’s one of the benefits of private hire. You can have speeches, award ceremonies and other special company moments. They’re usually scheduled after dinner, before the party band and dancing begin.
Are drinks included in the price?
Yes. An All-Inclusive Standard ticket includes unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks.
You can also upgrade to All-Inclusive Plus. This gives you unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks — plus 6 single spirits (with or without mixers), or glasses of Prosecco.
With both options, all-inclusive drinks are served for 4½ hours (unless your booking summary shows otherwise).
The menu
Is there an option for canapés, instead of a sit-down dinner?
Generally, yes. If you’re looking for a standing event please let us know before you book.
Do you cater for different dietary requirements?
Yes. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a function sheet. Use this to tell us about the dietary requirements of your guests.
Also, please let us know if any guests require Kosher food. It’s prepared by a separate caterer and incurs an additional charge. Call us on 020 7183 3821 and we’ll talk you through it.
Booking and admin
How flexible are the dates?
The shared parties run on specific dates throughout December. However, with private parties the dates can be more flexible. For larger groups, we can often secure additional dates or private lunchtime events.
We’ll do everything we can to accommodate your preferred date, although bear in mind that it does depend on venue availability,
How far in advance should we book?
For obvious reasons, December dates are very popular so we recommend enquiring as soon as possible if you’re considering private hire. Call us on 020 7183 3821.
How much is the deposit? And when is it due?
The payment schedule is as follows.
- 50% deposit at the time of signing the contract
- 25% instalment payment 100 days before the event
- 25% balance 42 days (6 weeks) before the event
We’ll keep you posted on when all payments are due, and the actual amounts.
Will I be able to add additional guests after the booking is made?
Yes, provided your guest numbers don’t exceed the maximum allowed at the venue.
