Dance the whole night away because The Ultimate Motown Extravaganza is right in the heart of Manchester. It’s at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel. There are excellent transport links — or just stay put, relax and book a comfortable room at the 4-star hotel.
You’ll have plenty of time for photos before the doors open to a spectacular Motown-themed event space.
As you’re served a delicious 3-course dinner, our fabulous live singer entertains you with Motown classics, keeping things mellow while the all-inclusive drinks and the conversations flow.
Dinner has been enjoyed… and the tempo rises as our on-stage singer is joined by the full band. This is your chance to shine on the dance floor — and once you’re on it, you’ll struggle to get off again.

Yes, this is a shared party. The main party room is where dinner is served, and also where all the live music takes place during and after dinner. You won’t be asked to share a table with other groups, you’ll only be seated with your group.
Yes, no matter the size of your guest list you’ll have your own tables. You won’t have to share the table with anyone outside your party group.

Your All-Inclusive Standard ticket includes unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks.
For £31 +VAT per person, you can upgrade to All-Inclusive Plus. This gives you unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks — plus 6 single spirits (with or without mixers), or glasses of Prosecco.
With all options, all-inclusive drinks are served from 8pm until 12.30am.
No. We want you to have a good time, so you can wear whatever you want.
Come in black tie, or dress up in full 60s or 70s Motown style. You can even bring an inflatable guitar if you like.
Yes they will. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a function sheet. Use this to let us know the names and dietary requirements of any guests. We’ll inform the chef so that each person is catered for appropriately.
The only exception to this is Kosher food. This cannot be prepared at the hotel. It comes via a separate caterer and incurs an additional charge. Call us on 020 7183 3821 and we’ll talk you through it.
To secure your booking, we’ll need a deposit of £55 + VAT per guest at the time of booking. The balance will be due 6 weeks (42 days) before the event.
We’ll be as flexible as possible. Please let us know about any changes before 1st November and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. Provided there is availability, we can add to your booking — although please bear in mind, we can’t guarantee this.

The minimum is 8 people. The maximum number for this event is 500.

The hotel is excellent for public transport links. Both the Charlotte Street and Piccadilly Gardens stops are just around the corner.
All our hotels have disabled access.
Yes, the cloakrooms at all our party locations are free. If you have larger luggage items, every hotel venue has a free concierge service. Leave your luggage with them and they’ll look after it securely while you’re at the event.
